Technology
Our desire is that our graduates will have a redemptive impact on the generation to which they are called. In order to prepare them for living in the 21st century, we utilize the latest in educational technology in grades K-6.
At CCS, we practice discernment while navigating through the tension between core curriculum and project-based learning. ActivBoards and iMacs are incorporated daily. From using an interactive website about prehistoric cave paintings in France to engaging in electronic math activities that reinforce the teacher’s lesson, students connect what they are learning with the world at large.
Technology found in our school assists the teachers in adding visual, auditory, and kinesthetic aspects to lessons, enabling them to differentiate for various learning styles. From weekly instruction in the Computer Lab, to incorporating the classroom ActivBoard in group discussions, to individual access to resources, learning at CCS is deeply enhanced and students are equipped for life.
