Other Ways to Contribute
Although alumni, family and corporate gifts are our largest fundraising source, CCS also has several other programs to meet the needs of the School. Here are some ways that parents and friends of CCS can help (all donations are tax deductible):

Auction Night
Held annually, the auction is a fun community event and an important fundraiser. In the past, donations to the auction have included items such as sporting or theater tickets, use of vacation homes, and services as varied as professional photography to home cooked meals!

Golf Tournament
This benefit tournament happens in June each year. A percentage of these funds is used to provide financial support for children with special needs in the Learning Center. The balance of the proceeds goes toward annual operating costs of the School. Please consider supporting this effort by sponsoring a hole or fielding a foursome at this tournament.

Endowment
CCS has an Endowment Fund whose principal is restricted to capital improvements and other substantial projects. In fact, historically, CCS has not applied any of the principal of the Fund, but has used only the interest from this Fund, and where possible has reinvested the earnings to increase the endowment. With the changes in the stock market in the last few years, income from the Endowment Fund has dropped substantially. Your gift to the Endowment Fund would help provide long term security to the mission of Central Christian School.

Library Donations
Many families have enriched our School by donations of books to the library. The library has a “wish list” of books, or would be happy to review any proposed books that are not on the list. Gifts in honor of student birthdays are a special way to benefit the school and the birthday boy or girl!

Scholarship Funds
CCS has several scholarship funds to allow Christian families to provide their children with the Christ-centered education CCS offers. You may choose to contribute to any of the following funds:

Brewer Scholarship Fund
In order to fulfill its desire that no student be excluded on a financial basis, CCS sets aside 5% of its tuition receipts, to be used annually to give tuition assistance to needy students. Your donations to this fund will increase the amount of annual assistance and the number of students who receive aid.

Discretionary Scholarship Fund
Donations to this fund are allocated from time to time based on a known family need. The tuition assistance provided to families through this Fund can help a family keep their children at CCS despite an unexpected financial difficulty.

Robby Maher Scholarship Fund
These funds are used for special needs students who otherwise could not afford the special instruction they need to succeed. Funds are used for the Learning Center tuition or speech and language services.

Scholarships to assist specific students also can be arranged. Please contact the Business Manager, Bill Goessling(314-727-4535 or bgoessling@ccsstl.com) for more information.

If you would like to make a donation, please contact Carmen Worley, at 314-727-4535 or cworley@ccsstl.com.
