CCS joins parents in guiding children on the journey of lifelong learning. Desiring to strengthen the work parents have begun in their homes, we partner with moms and dads to maintain an excellent school community. Recognizing the diverse ways God has gifted His people, we welcome parents to use their talents at CCS – in the classroom, on the athletic fields, in fundraising events, and more.
Research demonstrates that parent involvement in schools directly correlates to student achievement. CCS encourages parent volunteers and gives them many opportunities to plug into life at the School. From classroom support to assisting with lunch to chaperoning field trips parents are a key part of our program.
Partners in Education, our parent organization, plays a vital role in our school community. PIE’s main function is to partner with, support and encourage our teachers and staff. Whether it be facilitating the Room Parent system or providing teacher snacks during conference time, PIE desires to come alongside our teachers and staff and enhance our children’s experience by being a positive and servant-oriented presence. PIE also seeks to build and unite our entire School community through volunteer efforts both in and out of classroom and by holding a variety of fellowship-type events throughout the year. Parents are encouraged to get involved in PIE and serve in a way that best fits their gifts, talents and schedule. We know your children are precious. We know your time is, too. We’ve made it easy to get involved -- all you have to do is find which avenue works best.
