Letter from Our Head of School

Dear parent,

Thank you for your interest in Central Christian School.  I trust that during your exploration of our School you experience the vibrant educational community that makes CCS so special. We recognize that choosing an educational institution for your child is one of the most important decisions you will make for him or her.  We invite you to take the time to get to know us, to ask lots of questions and to see for yourself the reasons we have been the fastest growing private school in St Louis over the past four years.

We hope that you will find that CCS is a place where the essential spiritual, academic and social foundations are being laid in the hearts and minds of the children we serve. These children come from over fifty different churches and thirty-five different zip codes across the St Louis region.  This diversity creates a rich educational community where children from variegated backgrounds are united under the banner of Jesus Christ in their pursuit of excellence in education.

Our program is geared toward preparing children to live boldly and fruitfully in the 21st century.  For us, 21st century preparation means deep integration of technology into the learning process, an unswerving commitment to the concept and practice of truth and the utilization of the best, research-validated educational practices.  Our teachers embrace both the art and science of teaching in order to reach the children in their classrooms.  

As Christians we are often made to feel that in order to experience academic excellence, we must sacrifice the values we hold dear.  But what if you could have both?  What if there was a place that held the spiritual and academic formation of your child in equal esteem?  We believe that Central Christian School is such a place and that our approach will help parents establish their children firm in the faith and prepare them for the next phase of their academic career.
