History of CCS

Central Christian School began in 1957 as a school designed to provide a Christian environment for young children before they entered primary school. The school extended to higher grades over the years at the request of parents who saw the value in the education their children were receiving. The current program, preschool through sixth grade, has been established since the 1960s. The original school facility was expanded in the 1970s to accommodate a growing student body. In 2009, an additional building was added to our campus to house our state-of-the-art 5th and 6th Grade Center.

CCS continues to operate as a ministry of Central Presbyterian Church and educates 275 students.  Our unique curriculum and integration of technology equips students for success in the secondary school environment and for leadership in the 21st century.
