 Thank you for your interest in Central Christian School! While most of our grades have a wait list for the 2008-2009 school year, we still have a few openings. As applications are submitted, we will bring students through the admissions process. If openings within a class do become available, we will review our waiting list of qualified applicants to find the best fit for next year’s class. We attempt to balance each class to create the most distinct learning environment possible. To do this, we consider gender, learning style, and personality of individual students.
The admissions process includes 5 steps:

The admissions process begins by completing and submitting an Application for Admission.

Following receipt of an application, each applicant will be asked to submit prior school records for the student, including preschool records, if any, for applicants to Kindergarten and Pre-Kindergarten.

The school will give grade level/readiness testing to all applicants for Kindergarten and higher level grades, together with a language/speech screening.

Parents will also be contacted to schedule an interview with the Headmaster and a School Board member. As a covenant Christian school, Central Christian School requires that each student come from a home with at least one parent able to give testimony to his or her saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Admissions interviews are held on select Tuesday evenings each month.

CCS will notify you of your child's admissions status when all steps of the admissions process are completed. You will be notified by mail.

Tuition Assistance
Our desire is not to exclude any student because funds are not available to cover tuition. Partial tuition assistance is available. Applications for financial aid are made separately from admissions decisions. Applicants generally will be notified by March. Please contact the Director of Admissions for more information.
