Admissions Process

The admissions process for 2012-13 enrollment includes six steps to help determine if CCS is a good fit for your child:

1. Schedule a time to come tour our school.
2. After visiting our school, begin the admissions process by completing and submitting an Application for Admission and application fee of $75.  Print and return a completed Release Form to CCS, so we may obtain school records from your child's current school (K-6th grade applicants).  You may access this PDF document by scrolling below.  Applications are due by Febraury 1 in order to be considered for the first round of admissions decisions (which will occur in early March).  Applications received after February 1 are welcomed, but they will be processed beginning in mid-March and will be considered on a rolling admission basis. 
3. Your child will come to CCS for a Shadow Day and will participate in an admissions screening.  Applicants to 3K or JK will have a Shadow Day lasting 1 1/2 hours. The Director of Admissions will accompany your child to their classroom visit and remain with him or her until the screening.  If your child is applying to K-6th grade, the Shadow Day will be for an entire school day.
4. You, the parents, will be interviewed by the Director of Admissions.   Central Christian School requires each student come from a home with at least one parent able to give testimony to his or her saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.   In addition to learning about your child, we will hear your story of faith in Christ at this time.  We believe in the strong partnership between home, school, and church and desire our families to be actively involved in a local church.
5. We will contact your child’s current school to request school records and a Teacher Referral Form (for students applying to grades K-6^th).
6. The Admissions Committee will review your child's file in late February 2012, after all steps of the process are completed.  We'll  notify you of your child’s enrollment status for 2012-13 in mid-March.
